Our customers are important to us and we want you to be completely satisfied with our service and products, so we put a few rules and policies in place to better assist us all.

Rules & Policies.

Please DO NOT remove or relocate ANY of our signs. If you need your display taken down early or moved, please give us a call and we will gladly come and get them. A travel fee WILL be charged if we have to come back out to move a sign to another location. If ANY part of the sign is moved, removed, or rearranged without our consent, a $50 fine WILL apply.

Please do not allow children play on or around the display, or pull up any of the signs. Party Up My Yard and its representatives will not be responsible or liable for any injury that may be caused to any person while they are rented and in your recipient’s yard.

Please arrange to mow and trim your grass BEFORE our set up. Mowers and weed eaters can ruin the signs. We really appreciate you taking good care of our signs so others can enjoy them in the future, too!

Please do not attach anything to the signs including, but not limited to, balloons, string, streamers, silly string, confetti, as this may cause damage to the signs. You also may not “re-arrange” the letters on our displays. The verbiage on all displays has to be agreed upon by us prior to installation.

If given as a gift and the recipient calls us and inquires who ordered the display, we WILL tell them. We will also take down the display immediately if they request us to do so and no refund will be offered. It is best practice to know in advance how the recipient feels about yard signage. This is especially important for New Baby signs.

Missing or damaged lawn display items will be charged to the payment on file for the cost of replacement. (There will be a $10 fee per letter or sign lost or damaged while in the yard.)

We WILL NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES INSTALL “MEAN OR DEROGATORY” DISPLAYS. We won’t tolerate cruel jokes of any sort. We are in the business to bring joy to people not dismay. We also do not do “Divorce” signs, but may be able to recommend another sign company who does.

We DO NOT display political signage of any sort. We are in the celebration and business promotion business. There are other businesses that specialize in and distribute political and campaign signage.

We place a small sign in the yard with our company’s name, phone number and web site address. It is a small and unobtrusive sign that lets neighbors and the community know how to find us to order future yard displays. We kindly ask that you do not move or hide it. Our business is mostly word of mouth and visual signage. Thank you!

If the climate has been hot and dry in our area, please water the lawn just prior to sign installation, as this significantly helps with staking the yard. Do the screwdriver test. If you cannot get at least 3 inches of a screwdriver into your yard, we WILL NOT be able to stake and sign the yard. We will attempt to remind you to water. If you know your yard is too hard to stake, please consider requesting a sign stand for an additional fee.

We respectfully reserve the right to decline a delivery area or neighborhood that we deem may be unsafe for our signs or our delivery people. We may also decline an under-construction or newly-built home or community due to the difficultly staking those properties. As this is rare, we will contact you if the situation arises.

Refund Policy.

We understand plans sometimes change. We offer free cancellation, but kindly ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice. A lot of planning goes into the display those few days leading into the rental. 

In the event of inclement weather, we will not be able to set up any lawn displays. If this occurs, we will promptly refund the full rental price. Inclement weather includes lightning, thunderstorms, heavy snow, ice storm or extremely frozen yard (rain), high wind and any other Act of God that would put us or our yard displays in danger. Please know that it must be severe weather for us to miss a delivery. Normal rain or light snow is not a cause of a cancellation. Wind must be severe enough to impact the stability of the signs to cause a cancellation. Before canceling, we will contact you to either reschedule or refund.

The items we cannot refund you for include:

  • If an incorrect delivery address is provided.  We will send you a confirmation of your order via email so please DOUBLE CHECK the address, delivery date and time to make absolute sure there won’t be any problems.  We will make every effort to contact you if a problem arises as your satisfaction is very important to us.

  • If the recipient wants the display removed promptly.

  • If we are not allowed access to a gated community.  Please let the community guard know the date and time we will be arriving, or provide us with the gate access code if required PRIOR to arrival.

If there are any issues with the order, please let us know immediately, so we can make it right. We want completely satisfied customers. The biggest compliment is to tell your friends about us and be a repeat customer!

Privacy Policy.

Party Up My Yard respects your privacy. We DO NOT sell our clients’ personal information to third parties. We may occasionally email you to share information about our products and special discounts, but you may always opt out.

Agreement.

By ordering and booking with Party Up My Yard, you agree to all policies stated above.
